Types of arrows include bronze to runite, members can smith arrows using bars with anvils.

Ranged equipment can be bought from lowe who can be found west from the east bank and opposite the anvils where you can buy armour from Horvik.

Ranging is used for attacking monsters or players from a distance with either longbows, shortbows (and arrows), or crossbows (crossbow bolts). More than one player can attack a monster or player with ranged. To use any bow, you will need to wield it and also have the appropriate bolts in your inventory.

You only need to click on a monster or player once to attack them and it automatically fires all of the ammo in your inventory until it says, "I've run out of ammo!" You cannot attack a player or monster unless you have a clear path (for example, if there is a tree).

Monsters attacked by ranged will run directly to attack you in combat where you will not be using your bow, you will be using hands. If you want to wield a different weapon in combat you can do so. If you shoot from the other side of a fence or a table, the monster will not be able to come and attack you.

Some of your arrows/bolts will be found on the ground where you shot them at, so you can pick them up and use them again.
