February 2002

Here are a selection of pictures from the MBR Devil's Dyke loop

Mike, David and Paul resort to pushing up this section – it is actually a lot steeper than it looks and there is no traction at all.

Mike and David skirt round the puddles

No bikes but I just had to take this shot of the superb rolling South Downs

David looking tense after coming off 3 times on the first downhill. Yes, I have just found the image editing software.

It looks like hard work as Mike climbs up Wolstonbury Hill

Paul makes it to the bottom of the first down hill looking as though he’s almost in control.

Mike and David climbing past the Jack and Jill windmills heading towards Ditchling Beacon.

David and a windswept Paul as we pass along another crest

“Why aren’t there many pictures of you Richard?” I hear people ask. Is it because you are camera shy or do you just like making jokes at other people’s expense? Or is it because when I give the camera to someone else, instead of a great shot of the bikes all I get is David’s right nostril.
