20th June 2004 Richard, dialled_mike and Rav - Chicksands / Rowney Warren

A day out to the freeride fun that is Chicksands and Rowney Warren.

There has been plenty of building work going on at Chicksands since my last visit with some small Northshore platforms being built.

The day was going well until I stacked big time after landing a small log drop. I completed the drop but then lost my front wheel in an unexected dip on the run out and flew off the front of the bike, landing heavily on the up slope.

In the process I managed to land on my camera and it has caused me a few problems this week hence the delay in updating the site.

The following day left me feeling very sore with a grazed elbow which really stung and a large bruise and an interesting lump on my thigh where I landed. Looks like it's time to get some protection.
